I never want the rain to end...
I never want my rain/reign to end!
So you wondered where it came from, this torrential pour of rain...
Well, I'll tell you now, it's not a fluke: it's the outcome of my reign!
It all started way back when, you see, in a patch of desert mess,
with a young boy always praying for his mother, so sickened and distressed.
Oh, Lord, I can't explain! My mother dear, her end is near!
She needs to be treated with extra good care, a veg'table garden with goodies to spare.
So dry, it never pours! The tank is cracked, the hose is worn!
I'd give my soul to make it rain; I'd give it all up so she could be saved!
And the skies did open with a peal of fright'ning thunder,
a God of Storms came and tore my world asunder!
To acquire power over all precipitation, it calls for a small donation...
Just a bit of your love and a bit of your soul makes this pitiful boy become beautifully whole!
So I made my bond to the tempest with glee. I made my choice as my powers were freed!
And so I'll see a world of plenty.
I plant the seed and watch it growing.
And so I'll feed on the fruits of my labor!
A little water, some dirt and some time...
That's what it takes to make a garden divine!
I see it happen before my eyes
and I would hope it lasts forever...
I can certainly try!
[Big Al and Tonio scatting]
I had raised a garden full of food aplenty, but it had come to grief.
No, my mother's lost forever in her slumber; no food could bring relief.
I have no time left for mourning now, there is so much work to do!
In my mother's memory, I fill the world aplenty to feed the hungry few.
I had planned a course to create a fertile world:
I will command the storms to plow and irrigate the deserts,
turn everything into a garden horn-of-plenty
so that everyone grows healthy.
With a bit of my love from the last of my soul, I will bring the planet to a decent whole.
With the world so frail, there can be no mistakes. I made my choice as I felt the Earth quake!
And so I made my world of plenty,
genetically manipulated!
No more disease in the name of my mother!
It's under my power to control.
I know anything is possible.
A little overwhelming to comprehend!
I never want my rain/reign to end!
Oh no! What can I do?
The heat is rising in my stormy brew: a volatile mixture of pollution and greed.
Contemptible climates, they cannot succeed!
No, no! It's all gone wrong!
A hurricane is coming—won't be long for everything I've made from rain to go unchained!
My efforts in vain...
Just a temporary setback, there is no cause for alarm.
With the crops uprooted and houses wrecked, hope nobody's come to harm.
It's a side-effect of my reign of rain, I'm often unable to control
what I have unleashed upon this world; it's taken quite a toll!
But there is one way.
Hear my sensible proposal: my control of weather all at your disposal.
Such mighty power beyond imagination, and all for a small donation...
With a bit of our love and a bit of our soul, we can take the fractions, form a decent whole.
So you'll join in my Neverending Rain/Reign?

Shius - Glass Shatters
03:57
|
|||
I took the gun, and I pulled the trigger
All the shattered glass, fragmented light in prisms
All these fragments show a reflection
Now
In the mirroring glass, show some redemption
Now we wait
It's not my method to choose, I will still follow it through
It's not a voice in my head, it's stuck here with me to the end
I took the gun, I pulled the trigger
I killed him
Lock me up and hide, you don't want to see it
Anymore
Now I sit and try, to contain my anger
I am not disturbed, I will not cry no longer
It's not my method to choose, I will still follow it through
It's not a voice in my head, it's stuck here with me to the end
Sing a lullabye now, blood will pave my way through
If I cannot survive, I will have to kill you
Sing a lullabye now, blood will make its way to you
If I cannot surmise, I will pave my way to you
Sing a lullabye, Sing a lullabye
When you say goodbye, I wish you goodnight
It's not my method to choose, I will still follow it through
It's not a voice in my head, it's stuck here with me to the end

DEVILCAT - CONFESSIONAL
04:23

How can you stand there,
Knowing what you've done
To the children of god?
You're horrifying!
Confessing your sins,
Without a breath of penance,
I sincerely wish,
For God's wrath to rain down on you!
When you wake I hope it's in hell,
I sincerely hope you burn for eternity,
Because god's children deserved love, right?
They say to seek mercy and be found but
Your sins won't wash away- you're a monster!
Because god's children deserved love, yes?
Seeking the Lord's mercy?
But did you show them that?
No, you just betrayed them-
God's Shepherds do not do harm!
Why do you stand there?
Knowing all that you've done
To the children of god?
You're horrifying!
Knowing hell exists,
Yet you're choosing to go there!
I will not sorrow,
For God's wrath will rain down on you!
When you wake I hope it's in hell,
I sincerely hope you burn for eternity,
Because god's children deserved love, right?
They say to seek mercy and be found but
Your sins won't wash away- you're a monster!
Because god's children deserved love, yes?
How can I stand here,
Knowing what I've done,
To the children of god?
I'm horrifying!
Knowing hell exists,
And I've chosen to go there!
"Stray not from the just path,
Or God's wrath will rain down on you!"
When I wake I hope it's in hell,
I sincerely hope I burn for eternity,
Because god's children deserved love, right?
They say to seek mercy and be found but
My sins can't wash away- I'm the monster!
I know God's children deserved love...

celestrai - Aftermath

Don't know how it's long it's been
That the desert's been spreading
From one horizon it's
Crept to cover everything
It doesn't matter much
I'm always on the run
What choice do I have when
Cities have been left in ruin
Been left scattered to the wind
At my back it's been pushin'
A dead city's secrets
Buried and locked deep within
Its sand choked streets
I can feel them mocking me
Trapped without lock or key:
The risen fall of humanity
Yeah, I'm running and I don't know why
Just an outlaw against red sky
Sirens calling 'fore it all went black
Now I'm here in the aftermath
Taken from the world I knew
Just a desert to get through
In the solitude
I'm hoping that I never come to
In this desert dry
I'm holding on to my mind,
I'm too afraid to die
Cause I might just be the last man alive
Yeah, I'm running and I don't know why
Just an outlaw against red sky
Sirens calling 'fore it all went black
Don't know how it's long it's been
But the desert's still spreading
From one horizon it's
Crept to cover everything
It doesn't matter much
I'm always on the run
What choice do I have when
Humanity praised its own ruin?

Cold wind blows in
I'm wondering, when the pain stops blowing
Rain on the glass
Time moves past
Where was I last evening?
Thoughts, mind is lost
Sun’s shining on someone else today
Same as always, flooding up
When will I have enough
(Where was I last evening)
Rain and storms roll by, the cold fills up my head
Calling out a name, anyone hear me, can anyone hear my cry?
Raining on the streets of my head at night
Wondering why nothing seems right
And the water’s flowing, my room’s flooding
With all these words, my head hurts
Don’t rain on my parade
Is what they say, “my skies are grey”
Don’t rain on my parade
(It’s always raining)
Is what they say, “my skies are grey”
(In my head, that’s what they said)
Head, filled up with thoughts
Mind’s in knots
Weather getting worse and
My, heart it hurts
Rain and hail
Guess I’ll go and set sail
In an ocean of my own feelings and grief
They say I bring the rain to everyone’s street,
To everyone’s street
“It’s always raining when I see you,
When I see you,
In your thoughts, you talk a lot
how the rain follows you
The weather’s always bad when you’re around
Lighting and thunder sounds
They say, weather head, what happened to you”
Raining, like it’s killing you
Raining on the streets of my head at night
Wondering why nothing seems right
And the water’s flowing, my room’s flooding
With all these words, my head hurts
Don’t rain on my parade
Is what they say, “my skies are grey”
Don’t rain on my parade
(It’s always raining)
Is what they say, “my skies are grey”
(In my head, that’s what they said)

HAYES - Notification
03:00
|

A flash of blue light wakes me up in the dead of night
I roll over as the flashes continue keeping me up
I can’t get you out of my mind
I don’t know what this feeling is
Can you help me understand this?
Are you up?
Hello?
And now I’m looking outside my window
I think we’ve been talking too much
Because I can see everything in a daylight hue
… heh,heh, um oops
And even though you still know
How to describe these emotions in your heart
If you need someone to talk about it
Just let me know
Sorry I missed your call

Meg Moore - BIG RAT
02:44
|

Walk into the sewers, down under the street
Go on down the pipes and you might find something neat
In a cute subterranean paradise
It's Big Rat, and he's really nice
It's Big Rat, and he's really nice
He's the Big Rat, he's watching over you
Fight the nightmares, defend the truth
Though you may think he carries plague
He really thinks the myth’s pretty vague
BIG RAT SAID GAY RIGHTS
His rat children gather to hear all his tales
Of his rat adventures, of his whiskers and tails
He'll always tuck them into their little beds
It's Big Rat, he's one step ahead
It's Big Rat, he's one step ahead
He's the Big Rat, he's watching over you
Fight the nightmares, defend the truth
Though you may think he carries plague
He really thinks the myth’s pretty vague
GAY RIGHTS
